Meet the LIS Professional - Series 6 The Department of Library and Information Science, Farook College (Autonomous), successfully hosted the 6th series of "Meet the LIS Professional" on 27 July 2026. The programme featured an insightful Keynote Address by Dr. K. C. Abdul Majeed, Professor & Head (Retd.), Kannur University, followed by an engaging Alumni Talk by Safwannusalam K, Professional Assistant Grade 2, Department of Computer Science, University of Calicut. The sessions provided valuable perspectives on professional experiences, career pathways, and the evolving dimensions of the field, making it a meaningful learning experience for the students.
