Haseena V.K is the Assistant Professor in the Department of Library and Information Science in Farook College, Kozhikode. She has completed her BSc degree in Botany (2007) from Unity Women’s College, Manjeri. She did her Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science (2008) from Farook College, Kozhikode. After she has done her Post-graduation in Library and Information Science (2011) from IGNOU and did PGDCA (2012) also. Later she had worked as Librarian about 4 years in MSPEMHS, Malappuram, Chair for Gandhian Studies and Research, University of Calicut and Floreat International Senior School, Pulikkal. She has been working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Library and Information Science in Farook College, Kozhikode, since March 2015. In between she has also worked as Librarian Grade IV in Kozhikode DIET for about 6 months (2018 October- 2019 March).Her areas of interest include Foundation of Librarianship, Library Automation and Digital Libraries.
